How to replace radiator and fan assembly on 2006-20012 Lexus IS 250 Step-by-Step

This video is showing the removal and installation of a complete fan assembly and radiator for a 2008 Lexus IS250. . May be the same for model years 2006-2013 Lexus. A failing fan motor driver’s side started causing engine temperature to rise when car was sitting in traffic. As long as the car moved along the air flow kept the temperature in the middle readings. So, the plan was to remove and replace the whole fan assembly. As a hose was removed from the radiator for fan assembly replacement I could see there was a big chip cut off the top radiator inlet. Which is plastic. Seems to have been there from a previous removal. The hose was clamped past the broken area. No leaks from the radiator but at this time I decided it was time to change out the radiator for a new one. Removal of air cleaning compartment/housing is shown for fan assembly clearance. Unbolting some front sheet metal securing the top of the radiator is necessary. Removal of the grill is shown for reaching bolts that need to be removed to separate the condenser from the radiator inlet. Same reach can probably be accomplished if you want to take the trouble of removing the bottom plastic covers. A failing fan motor on these shrouds can be replaced alone instead of a whole new fan assembly by just unscrewing some bolts.
