2026 Ocean City NJ Airshow - Scott Francis

Closing out the 2026 edition of the Ocean City NJ Airshow was Scott Francis, who flew a fantastic aerobatic performance over the beaches and Boardwalk of Ocean City. Scott also flew a GoPro inside the aircraft, which is seen separately. The 2026 Ocean City NJ Airshow took place on Sunday September 20, 2026 over the beaches of Ocean City, New Jersey, with all video shot on that day (minus the nighttime jump featuring Team Fastrax, which took place on Saturday September 19, 2026). Unlike the airshows held in Atlantic City and Wildwood, the folks running the City of Ocean City have elected to continue with the same production team that has produced and provided air operations and announcing since the first airshow in OCNJ, showing that the right team with the right experience is in place and will continue to be in place, something both Atlantic City and Wildwood have neglected. Over the years, the music industry has increased its concern to ensure they are paid when ANY copyrighted music is played. Therefore, according to the International Council of Air Shows (ICAS), any U.S. air show, whether civilian or military, must secure the necessary music licenses for broadcast of pre-recorded copyrighted music over public address systems. As stated for the 2026 airshow season, ICAS has negotiated a deal that will allow issuance of music licenses for ICAS member air shows for all three US music licensing organizations: ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC. Each ICAS member air show is eligible for a single package of the three music licenses for one air show at the cost of $770 for a one (1) day air show; $1,100 for a two (2) day air show; $1,375 for a three (3) day air show; $1,650 for a four (4) day air show; $1,925 for a five (5) day air show, $2,200 for a six (6) day air show; $2,475 for a seven (7) day air show, and $2,750 for an eight (8) day air show. The rate applies only to music broadcast over the public address system during the public air show portion of the program (not practice/rehearsal/closed to the public days) and does not provide the air show with the right to use pre-recorded music at concerts or other non-air show special events held in conjunction with the air show.
