ONLY TWO SINS GOD WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU | Dag Heward-Mills

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills teaches from Luke 17:3-4 on the command to take heed to yourselves, showing that forgiveness is more about protecting yourself than about the offender. He explains that your spirit will be chewed up if you hold onto bitterness, and uses a vivid illustration of someone throwing knives and casually apologizing to show that mere words without true repentance are not enough. He draws out the condition 'if he repent' and what it truly means. Bishop Dag then makes the striking claim that there are only two sins God will not forgive: the sin against the Holy Spirit and the sin of not forgiving others. He reads Mark 11:26, 'But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses,' and contrasts this with fornication, which God will forgive. He charges listeners to examine themselves and release anyone they are holding unforgiveness against, warning that the enemy's strategy is to use offense to destroy the one who refuses to forgive.
