Zero Mastery vs. Enemy Team of Experts (Kog’Maw Ranked Win)

My Ashe was banned.... This game had a stat line you don’t see often: every single player on my team had zero mastery on the champion they were playing, and every player on the enemy team had double-digit mastery on theirs. On paper that’s about as lopsided as a matchup can get before the game even starts — they knew their champions’ exact combos, trade windows, and power spikes, and we were all figuring it out in real time. It still came down to a 40-minute back-and-forth where neither team gave up an easy lead, and I closed it out with a triple kill to seal the win. This is less “here’s a clean Kog’Maw carry” and more proof that raw champion mastery isn’t the thing that decides a game by itself — decision-making, team fighting, and not panicking when the “experts” start playing their champ perfectly still matters more.
