I'm NOT Ready - Solo Ride South East Finland

I wasn’t sure I was ready for this trip. About a month before my husband and I set off on our two-week ride around the Baltic Sea, I bought a new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. This solo ride around Lake Saimaa wasn’t about adventure—it was about getting to know the bike, building confidence, and finding out whether all those doubts I’d had about its weight and handling were actually true. On day one I ride from Lahti to Imatra, visit the historic Salpa Line fortifications, enjoy quiet gravel roads, and spend the night at the beautiful Imatran Valtionhotelli. Nothing dramatic happens… but sometimes the biggest challenges are the ones we create in our own minds.
