Return: A Post-Apocalyptic Bigfoot / High Strangeness 'Short Story Film'

This is an experiment in adapting one of my short stories (Return, written in 2020 and published in New Maps in 2021) specifically for Youtube. I love short stories. But there aren't all that many ways to get them out there these days. So for almost a year now, I've been thinking: what if you combined an audiobook with a graphic novel? Seems kinda perfect for Youtube, no? It's not quite a short film, exactly, but it's more than just an audiobook. And I'd love to hear what you think of this approach. Return is a story set in a near-future world where civilization has partially collapsed, but remains more-or-less intact in various regions. The tale follows a group of survivors traveling through the wilderness of British Columbia, attempting to live off the land while trading with various small towns here and there. But out in this rugged, untamed, wild landscape, they encounter something strange. Something they can't easily explain.
