Friendly Killers Are KILLING Dead By Daylight.

In this Dead by Daylight reaction and commentary video, I’m reacting to a Reddit post from r/deadbydaylightrage titled “to all friendly killers in 2v8 go fys”. The post comes from a Nemesis player who waited roughly 45 minutes for a 2v8 match, only to encounter a friendly Ghostface who spent the entire game body blocking and protecting the Survivors instead of actually playing with their Killer teammate. I discuss why I agree with the frustration behind this post and why intentionally playing friendly in Dead by Daylight 2v8 can be incredibly frustrating for the other Killer. When Killer queues are already extremely long, wasting another player's time by deliberately sabotaging the match can have a much bigger impact than simply having a bad game. We’ll go through the original Reddit post, the responses from other players who agree with the complaint, and several examples of why friendly Killer behavior can be especially problematic in 2v8. There’s a difference between having a funny interaction with Survivors and deliberately ruining the experience for the Killer who waited a long time to play.
