Dynasty (1981) Cast Then and Now 2026: Who's Still Alive After 45 Years? Dynasty (1981) cast then and now: find out what happened to the stars of ABC's legendary primetime soap opera, forty-five years after the Carrington family first walked into Denver's oil-money mansions. This video revisits the actors behind Blake, Alexis, Krystle, Fallon, Steven, and the rest of the Carrington and Colby families, tracing the real stories behind the show's most famous moments, including the true reason behind Joan Collins's pay dispute with producers, the real account of the lily-pond catfight scene, and a guest appearance from Rock Hudson that became a turning point in American television history. You'll learn who is still working today, who quietly left Hollywood for a completely different life, and who the show has lost since Dynasty first aired on ABC in January 1981. We also cover the real-life activism of Catherine Oxenberg, the lasting career of Diahann Carroll beyond her groundbreaking role as Dominique Deveraux, and what became of the actors who played both versions of Fallon and Steven Carrington over the show's nine seasons. This video is part of our ongoing Cast Then and Now series, where we look back at the actors behind the classic television shows that defined American and British living rooms for decades, always grounded in verified facts rather than speculation or guesswork.
