Mobile Suit Gundam: Climax U.C. [ PCSX2 ] - [ 00 ] - Intro & Tutorial

Welcome my devoted followers and mecha enthustiasts, to the best gosh darn Mecha game there is. Mobile Suit Gundam - Universal Century Climax Or Climax UC as the title actually is. But I always thought UC Climax sounds better. Forget all the arcade-style games like Gundam vs Gundam and the likes. They've got nothing on this game! The only game that perhaps can compete with this is Zeonic Front. But just perhaps. When I first acquired this game back when I was around 17-18 years old, I did at first not like it. But the more I played it, the more I grew to absolutely love it and I long for Bandai to create an updated version of this but modern consoles with more side stories. Imagine playing with the Full Armor Gundam, or the ever-popular GM Sniper in alternate paths and the likes! To my recollection, I can't recall ever doing the Tutorial missions before. They are of course, very simple and serve to teach you how the game function, and most enjoyable of all is that they give you a Jegan to use in the tutorial. The Jegan being one of my absolute favorite 'Grunt' suits to use. It has the typical set of weaponry of beam rifle, head vulcan, missile launcher and beam saber. The Jegan can also fire out 'dummies' that will distract enemies ( or the player if an enemy Jegan uses it ). During this tutorial, you take control of the canon-approved pilot of the Climax Manga. This is the same character that serves as your player character's " father " in Progress Mode. But we'll talk about that more when we cross that bridge! My main concern with this series is the ever looming fear that Bandai, who are notoriously copyright happy, may decide to slam down the hammer out of nowhere. But I sure hope that won't come to pass.
