Solo Hiking the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim

My very first proper hike in the USA. It's been a dream of mine for quite some time to hike in the Grand Canyon. So back in December 2024 I applied for the camping permit lottery and I WON! I chose the North Rim opening day hoping the weather wouldn't be too hot and I was lucky again: 26 degrees and breezy. 2 spectacular days and I couldn't have asked for more. Everything went smoothly and found the hike quite easy in general. If you choose your date well and go physically prepared it's very enjoyable and those views make a good time even greater.
