Steam Locomotive 3801 - THNSW Blue Mountains Flyer, 2nd August 2026 🚂

Across the weekend of 1st/2nd August 2026, Transport Heritage NSW operated their Blue Mountains Flyer tour, featuring iconic Steam Locomotive 3801. 3801 has recently returned to mainline operations after being under repair for the last couple of years. The tour ran from Central Station to the Zig Zag Railway near Lithgow. We caught 3801 at several locations along the Blue Mountains Line, including Zig Zag. Here's our footage from the day.
