January 2024 Lunch & Learn: Better FAFSA “Best” Practices for Special Population

This January 2024 Lunch & Learn provides counselors and educators with information and best practices for supporting special student populations through the Better FAFSA process. The discussion explores considerations for students with unique circumstances and provides guidance to help education professionals navigate FAFSA requirements, address common questions and connect students with the support they need to complete the financial aid application. Counselors and educators can use these insights to strengthen FAFSA advising and help ensure students facing additional barriers have the information and resources needed to access financial aid.
