Have You Heard What REALLY Happened to Daniel Ash?

#danielash #bauhaus #rocknrollhistory Have You Heard What REALLY Happened to Daniel Ash? Daniel Ash helped give Bauhaus its unsettling musical edge, using guitar less like a conventional rock instrument and more like a source of atmosphere, noise, and tension. But when Bauhaus collapsed, he did something more interesting than simply trying to recreate its sound. This video explores what really happened to Daniel Ash, from his early partnership with Peter Murphy to Bauhaus, Tones on Tail, Love and Rockets, and the restless creativity that repeatedly pushed him toward something different. Ash’s career became a series of departures and reinventions. Love and Rockets unexpectedly reached a much larger audience, Bauhaus reunited more than once, and old relationships repeatedly brought both opportunity and tension back into his life. Through solo records, electronic experiments, reunions, and long stretches outside mainstream attention, he continued resisting the idea that one famous band should define everything that followed. What really happened to Daniel Ash is about a guitarist who helped create the sound associated with Bauhaus, then spent decades proving that leaving it behind could be just as creatively important as returning to it. #danielash #bauhaus #rocknrollhistory #HQ002
