A Taste of Jazz in the Park (2002) Full Album

A Compilation album from various Milwaukee jazz artists showcasing Jazz in the Park, a weekly jazz festival that occurs every Thursday from June to September at Cathedral Square Park, located on the city's east side. I actually have recently gotten into jazz (largely thanks to the album, "Pass the Butter" by Gotham), so this album fuels my love for the genre even more. Unlike the recent albums I've been posting, this is one I found years ago that for some reason, I put off uploading. 0:00 Janet Macklin - I Think of You 6:37 Swing Nouveau - Bugle Call Rag 9:18 Lake Effect - Urban Dance 16:27 Wisconsin Conservatory of Music Faculty Jazz Ensemble - Julie's Time (Jeff Hamann) 21:34 Blind Boys of Alabama - Motherless Child 25:54 Airmen of Swing - In the Mood (Miller) 29:34 Milwaukee Slim Blues Band - Blow Wind Blow 33:04 Flora Purim - San Francisco River 38:02 Yoko Noge & The Jazz Me Blues - HotHouse Blues 47:06 Lao Tizer - Fire and Ice 53:02 The Luis Diaz Quintet - Papa Flaco 1:00:56 East Town Jazz Orchestra - Satin Doll 1:04:17 Alex Bugnon - Soul Purpose 1:08:49 King Comets - Zig Zig Zone 1:12:03 Up Front Jazz - Summertime
