Ashram Marg–Indraprastha underground Metro corridor, which will transform connectivity across some of the most important parts of Central Delhi. The interesting part? 👀 We are driving ABOVE the future Metro tunnel! Starting from Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, we explore the current construction activity and Metro work before driving through Gol Market, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Connaught Place and Shivaji Stadium. At Shivaji Stadium, we explain the upcoming interchange with the Airport Express Line, including the planned underground pedestrian connection and future connectivity towards Rajiv Chowk. From there, our journey continues towards Bangla Sahib, Sansad Marg and Central Secretariat, where major underground Metro construction is now visible on the ground. With the future Airport Express interchange at Shivaji Stadium, tourists arriving from Delhi Airport could potentially get much easier access to the heart of Central Delhi. The Magenta Line is a metro rail line of the Delhi Metro, a rapid transit system in Delhi, India and the first driverless metro in India. The line, which trundles across South Delhi and is majorly underground, spans 40.26 kilometers (25.02 mi) and consists of 26 metro stations: 10 are elevated and the rest are underground.[1] Unlike the Airport Metro Express, this line directly serves Terminal 1 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The Janakpuri West metro station on the line contains India's tallest escalator with a vertical height of 15.6 meters (51 ft).[2] The Magenta Line has interchanges with the Yellow Line at Hauz Khas, Blue Line at Janakpuri West and Botanical Garden and the Violet Line at Kalkaji Mandir of the Delhi Metro network.
