Stargate (1994) Cast Then and Now | What Really Happened to Them, and Why Ra Walked Away?

#castthenandnow #happydays #classictv Stargate (1994) cast then and now: where Kurt Russell, James Spader, Jaye Davidson, Viveca Lindfors, Djimon Hounsou, Mili Avital, Alexis Cruz, Erick Avari, John Diehl and French Stewart are thirty-two years after the gate first opened. Nine of the ten are still with us. Why did the man who played Ra ask for a million dollars hoping to hear no, and why did he never act again? Stargate opened on Halloween weekend 1994 and set a record for a fall opening. This film follows the ten people at its heart: the wrong script that almost cost the studio Kurt Russell, the trailer standoff with James Spader, the Swedish star who came to Hollywood in 1946 to be the next Garbo, the young man under Ra's golden mask whose name had no surname, the waitress who became the female lead, the two actors who said no to the television series and the one who said yes - and Jaye Davidson's own words on the night he saw the finished film. Which moment from Stargate has stayed with you - the gate opening for the first time, or Daniel staying behind? Tell us in the comments, and tell us where you are watching from.
