Tiger Peak Snow Summit Expedition | Surviving A Brutal Snowstorm At 4580M

Tiger Peak is a 4580 meters high mountain in Jalkhad kaghan Valley District Mansehra Pakistan. It is in Himalays mountain range. It is also called as mini K2 because of its shape similarity with the world's second highest mountain K2. Summiting Tiger Peak is not easy even in summer but we did it in extreme weather conditions. Snow storm, blizzard and low visibility tested our limits to reach the Basecamp on the first day. We stayed the night at Basecamp and then the next day we started the summit push. After reaching the summit weather took a drastic turn again and descending down became a big challenge for us because continuous snowfall, low visibility and rocky terrain were the big challenges for us. The summit expedition turned to a survival mission.
