2026 New York City Marathon Pre-Race Events

Marathon Day is finally here!! After years of trying to gain entry into the race and six months of grueling summer training, I get to toe the line of the iconic TCS New York City Marathon!! This moment is a dream come true! It’s not just a 26.2 mile journey through the 5 boroughs of the city though. There are race related events and activities taking place for days! Laura and I kicked off our trip by Celebrating 50 Years of the race running through all Five Boroughs at Grand Central Station’s, Vanderbilt Hall on Thursday! Of course we went to the expo on Friday to pickup my bib, some merch and anxiety! I also made a quick visit to the RunDisney meetup to find my people! I’ll be making my way to the starting village after this posts and before I know it, this will all be a memory! Good luck runners! #nycmarathon #nycmarathonexpo #nyrr
