Who Am I to Stand Don Loyd © 2026 Verse 1 I look back on the road I’ve traveled, Through the valleys and the fire. So many times I almost crumbled, Tired of walking that old wire. They told me I was not enough, That my labor had no worth. But I heard a whisper from the throne above— "Child, I knew you before your birth." Verse 2 I stopped beg-gin' for their table scraps, And I stood up on the Rock. Some doors closed and some men laughed, But I held fast to what I got. For the hands that shaped the heavens, Put this calling in my hand. And if the world don't understand it— Still, I'll take my stand. Chorus Who am I, that He should choose me? Who am I, to bear His name? But He poured His spirit through me, And He fanned that holy flame. I won't bow to fear or doubt now— I've been bought with too great a price. Who am I? I'm His redeemed one. Who am I? I'm sacrificed. Bridge Not by power, not by might, But by His Spirit day and night. He gives the backbone, He gives the breath— To choose my worth means choosing death To self, to pride, to worldly gain— And rising up in His strong name. So who am I? I am His own. And I will not walk alone. Tag Who am I? … I am His.
