Pebble the frog shows off a big jump, and the friends play a jumping game by Willow Pond. Juni has an idea: lay sticks that are all the same size in a row and count how many sticks long each jump is. Rufus jumps seven sticks and Pebble jumps five, so which jump is longer? Mister Barnaby explains how a frog's long back legs, webbed feet and eyes on top of its head help it jump and swim, and everyone learns that we're all good at different things.
Count the sticks with us, and say which jump is longer!
Try it at home: outside on soft grass, with a grown-up, line up some spoons that are all the same size. Jump beside them. How many spoons long is your jump?
