Faustinius destroys the Tesseract Labyrinth, freeing Mephet'ran the Deceiver from Necron control and turning a carefully planned triumph into a new and far more dangerous crisis. With the Silent King's arrival hanging in the balance, Phekon is left with no choice but to confront the escaped C'tan Shard before everything unravels.
