My Earthy Tone Journal – Part 3 of 4

Welcome back to Part 3 of My Earthy Tone Journal! In this episode, I’m creating another page in my four-part journal series, exploring texture, layers and mark-making using my earthy colour palette. For this piece, I experimented with saved wet wipes from my previous landscape journal sessions, transforming these leftover materials into a textured, abstract landscape with trees, a golden sun and layered patterns. I’m working with my chosen palette of Raw Sienna, Yellow Ochre, Unbleached Titanium, Mars Black and Titanium White, allowing the textures and shapes to guide the process. I love discovering new ways to reuse materials and finding beauty in unexpected places. Sometimes the most interesting art comes from simply experimenting and seeing where the process takes us!
