“The Peace at the Time of the End” is a powerful Christian Country Rock / Southern Gospel Rock song about remaining anchored in Christ when the world around us is filled with fear, uncertainty, wars, and warnings of what may come. Musically, the song carries a strong Country Rock foundation with Southern-rock guitar and Gospel influence. The driving rhythm, gritty male vocal, electric-guitar riffs, and rising backing vocals give it strength without losing the comforting heart of the message. Rather than sounding fearful or defeated, the music carries confidence—exactly what the lyrics are trying to express. The opening verse looks directly at a troubled world: “The papers scream of wars and fear, troubled times are drawing near.” Kingdoms shake, mountains fall, and warnings seem to come from every direction. Yet right in the middle of that thunder, the singer discovers something that does not move—a Rock beneath his feet. That leads into the central declaration: “I’ve got peace at the time of the end, A faithful Savior and a faithful Friend.” The song isn't saying that everything around us will suddenly become peaceful. Instead, it speaks about having peace while the storm is still raging. Nations may bend and kingdoms may descend, but the promises of God remain. The second verse turns toward the fear people experience when they wonder what tomorrow will bring. Instead of allowing that fear to take control, the singer returns to Scripture and remembers the words spoken by Christ and the prophets. The Shepherd has not forgotten His flock. He knows where every lamb has been. The bridge strengthens that message by contrasting faith with earthly security. Bunkers, money, possessions, and human plans can never provide the kind of assurance found in Christ. The singer's hope is not anchored in what mankind can build—it is anchored in the King. Then comes one of the song's strongest declarations: “When the trumpet sounds across the sky, I’ll lift my head instead of cry.” The final chorus explains why that peace exists. It isn't because the singer believes the world will repair itself: “Not because this world will mend, But because my hope is anchored in The One who conquered death and sin.” That distinction is the heart of the entire song. The closing lines become a quiet declaration of unwavering faith. The winds can blow. The shadows can come. The world can shake. But the heart remains still. “My heart is still, my soul won’t bend— I’ve found my peace at the time of the end.” “The Peace at the Time of the End” is an encouraging Christian Country Rock anthem about prophecy, uncertainty, the return of Christ, and finding peace not in circumstances—but in the Savior who remains faithful through them all. Kingdoms shake and mountains fall, You can hear the warning call. But in the middle of the thunder's sound, I've found a Rock that's solid ground. I've got peace at the time of the end, A faithful Savior and a faithful Friend. When the stars grow dim and the nations bend, His promises will never end. Though the whole world trembles and kingdoms descend, I've got peace at the time of the end. Neighbors worry, hearts give way, Wondering what tomorrow may say. But I read the words in red and gold, The same sure truth the prophets told. The Shepherd knows where every lamb has been, And He'll gather every one of them. No bunker built by human hands, No silver coin or earthly plans, Can match the hope my soul has found In the King whose grace and truth abound. When the trumpet sounds across the sky, I'll lift my head instead of cry. I've got peace at the time of the end, Not because this world will mend, But because my hope is anchored in The One who conquered death and sin. Through every trial until life's end, I'll rest in Christ and trust in Him. So let the winds blow where they may, And let the shadows chase the day. My heart is still, my soul won't bend— I've found my peace at the time of the end.
