Jormungandr - The World Serpent

Jörmungandr - The World Serpent Born of Loki and the giantess Angrboða, brother of Fenrir and Hel, Jörmungandr was hurled into the primal ocean by Odin. He swelled into a colossal serpent, encircling all Midgard and biting his own tail in an eternal ring. At Ragnarök he will rise in fury, poison the heavens, and battle Thor to mutual doom. Guardian of the ocean depths and harbinger of the world’s end.
