Chloe's Kingdom XC Day 2!

Day 2 my only plan was to finish the race, I took a pretty slow first lap in the slippery conditions than got fired up on my second lap easily shaving 15-20min off my lap time, then I lost the front end for a split second while I was 2nd gear wide open on single track and clipped my left hand guard which smashed into my left hip and than I flew head first into a tree on the other side of the trail completely breaking my helmet! I then spent 20+min gathering myself and managed to finish that lap, I had to call it and get Checked out by the medical team after a hit like that and I couldn’t keep going with a broken helmet, no apparent concussion luckily and it seems like my hip is just really sore and nothing more.
