Here are some tips for hiding the cable run on a tight tie rig and a looser tie with the top button undone. It is also possible to make a small hole in the back of the shirt under the collar to allow a cable run into the knot. In this situation we would recommend asking Costume Dept to apply fusing tape with an iron to the hole - this helps avoid the hole from tearing over time.
