夏のとびしま海道、御手洗、女猫の瀬戸　Summer on the Tobishima Kaido: Mitarai and Female cat strait

自宅から直線距離で20キロほど離れた広島県呉市の「とびしま海道」を訪れました。 安芸灘大橋を含め、4つの橋を渡り、重要伝統的建造物群保存地区「御手洗地区」を散策するために1年ぶりに島を訪れました。陸路では1時間半位です。 到着した午後3時過ぎ、ちょうど高速型観光クルーザー「シースピカ」が停泊していました。 この場所は西の山で日影ができ、暑さが遮られます。 歴史が見える丘公園からは独特な地形が楽しめます。トンボが沢山飛んでいました。 御手洗の町を歩く予定でしたが、新光時計店 （しんこうとけいてん）http://www.shinko-tokei.jp/ 先代の店主の方に偶然話しかけられ、1時間近くお喋りしていました。懐かしい話を沢山聞けて有意義な時間でした。新光時計店は世界中から修理の注文が来る有名な時計屋です。 大浦地区では夫婦岩を短時間撮影しました。この場所では散歩中の高齢女性と30分ほどお喋りしてしまいました。 とびしま海道は観光地化されておらず、込み合う事はありません。「出会いの館」を訪れた時は毎回藻塩のアイスを食べます。 撮影：Pocket3、Mavic4共にD-Log M I visited the "Tobishima Kaido" route in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture—located about 20 kilometers from my home as the crow flies. I returned to the islands for the first time in a year to cross four bridges (including the Akinada Ohashi Bridge) and stroll through the Mitarai district, a designated "Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings." It takes about an hour and a half to get there by road. Shortly after I arrived—just past 3:00 PM—the high-speed sightseeing cruiser "Sea Spica" happened to be docked there. The mountain to the west casts a shadow over this spot, shielding it from the heat. You can enjoy the unique topography from the "Hill Park Where History Can Be Seen" (Rekishi ga Mieru Oka Koen); there were many dragonflies flying about. I had planned to walk around the town of Mitarai, but I ended up chatting for nearly an hour after the former owner of Shinko Watch Shop (http://www.shinko-tokei.jp/) happened to strike up a conversation with me. It was a meaningful time filled with nostalgic stories. Shinko Watch Shop is a renowned establishment that receives repair orders from all over the world. In the Oura district, I took some quick photos of the "Meoto-iwa" (Husband-and-Wife Rocks). I also ended up chatting for about 30 minutes with an elderly woman who was out for a walk there. The Tobishima Kaido area hasn't been heavily commercialized for tourism, so it never gets crowded.
