Flower and Cat Photography | Samyang 135mm 1.8 | Sony A7 IV

Spent the afternoon wandering around with my Sony A7 IV and Samyang 135mm f/1.8, looking for anything interesting to photograph, from flowers blooming around the neighborhood to a familiar face of Lucy the cat. 🌸🐈 There were quite a lot of orchids in bloom this week, and of course, I couldn't resist photographing my neighbor's cat whenever I spotted him. The 135mm f/1.8 is usually my go to for portraits, but I wanted to see how it feels for photographing flowers around the neighborhood. The compression and shallow depth of field make even simple subjects pretty fun to shoot.
