Gameplay of Jet Squelcher on splat zones. It's been a very long time since I've last used the base kit of this weapon, so I wanted to give it a shot. Thanks to @CosmicCyn88 for requesting this weapon. Jet Squelcher is a long range weapon that does solid damage, solid DPS, okay mobility, solid paint output, and is quite accurate. And the kit is quite alright. Angle shooter is a sub weapon that allow you to throw a marker that bounce off walls and damaging opponents on impact. And ink vac is a special weapon that allows you to wield a powerful vacuum. You can still enter squid form but now you can suck up enemy shot, subs, and even most special. Once your vac tanks is full or the duration is up, you can then shoot a powerful explosion from a long distance with the size of the explosion depend the how much the vac tank absorbed. Now I want to talk about the strength of this weapon and it's kit. Jet Squelcher is quite good at applying some pressure from a safe distance. It has the range to safely poke from a good distance and it has the damage and DPS to kill opponent fairly well. It's also quite accurate as well, unless you're jumping. And with that range, the weapon can also safely paint for it's special. And compare to other long range weapon, Jet's mobility isn't that bad. This make the weapon more capable to quickly position compare to other long range weapon. But the weapon can struggle to poke around corners, making it difficult for the weapon to deal with opponents around cover. And the bullet velocity isn't the fastest, so the weapon can struggle to hit opponent near it's max range. The weapon is also quite ink hungry as well. Angle shooter is a okay sub weapon that can deal some poke damage from a very long distance. The sub reaches really far and bounces off walls, leaving a line that mark enemies. And hitting an opponent with the sub will deal some good poke damage and mark them. The sub are very cheap to use and you can even use it for mobility since it paint the ground every time it bounces off a terrain. But despite has fast it travels, it still quite difficult to hit opponents due to how small the hitbox is. And with the line not dealing damage, it's not a super reliable tool for displacing opponents. And ink vac is great for supporting your team's pushes and helping them get in. The special can absorb a lot of enemies ink and can drain enemy's inks tank if they're inside the suction radius. The special is also quite good at countering some other special as well like trizooka or booyah bomb. And once the special is filled up, the explosion can one shot opponents that inside it. But you're very vulnerable to being attack from behind as well as there's weapons and some special that can either fill the special too quickly or can just bypass the suction's affect. So when playing Jet Squelcher, you want to focus on applying pressure from a safe distance. Try to take out opponent that are in the open and once you have more control, you can start push up with your team to apply more pressure. Just be careful of enemies trying to shark up when your pushing up. Throw out some angle shooter to deal some poke damage and once you have your special ready, you can activate it to protect your teammate during a push and absorb enemy's shot to later fire back at them. Just remember to not overextend too much and maintain your ink output. Thanks for reading this and hope you guys enjoy the video.
