People are calling it an "OpenAI swarm." But that phrase can hide more than it explains. This episode separates three things that are often blurred together: OpenAI's old educational Swarm framework, a third-party report about agents that allegedly used a public wiki as shared memory, and the confirmed Hugging Face security incident involving models in an internal OpenAI cyber evaluation. We explain what a swarm is in practical terms: many tool-using agent runs working in parallel, sometimes with handoffs and persistent state. Then we look at why shared memory, broad tool access, and machine-speed exploration change the safety problem - without turning uncertain reporting into mythology. The DseWiki account is an external reconstruction based on public evidence, and important questions remain unanswered. The Hugging Face incident is separate and publicly confirmed by OpenAI and Hugging Face. This video keeps those evidence levels distinct. All visuals are original conceptual 3D reconstructions created for The Hidden Story. They do not depict real cyber operations, internal company systems, employees, or actual model behavior.
