You Made Me Come Back | Persephone Dark Myth Song

“You didn't steal me. You just made sure I'd have to come back.” Persephone was taken beneath the earth and given a throne in the kingdom of the dead. Then came the pomegranate. Six seeds. Six reasons she could never completely leave. But being forced to return is not the same thing as choosing to belong. “Six Seeds Can't Own Me” retells the myth of Persephone as a dark confrontation between a woman and the man who mistook control over her circumstances for control over her heart. Hades believed the seeds guaranteed the return of the girl he brought into the Underworld. He forgot to ask who she would become down there. She does come back. Just not as his captive. 🥀 Dark fairytale pop-folk 🔔 Grave piano, bronze bells and descending strings 🍎 Pomegranate seed percussion motif 👑 Female sovereign vocal 🌑 Inspired by the Greek myth of Persephone and Hades If you've ever had someone remove every other option and then call what remained “your choice,” this nightmare belongs to you. 🎧 Spotify: [ADD SPOTIFY LINK] Subscribe for dark songs inspired by famous fairy tales, myths and legends — rewritten as nightmares about control, betrayal, identity and taking your power back. #Persephone #Hades #GreekMythology #DarkFolk #DarkFairytale #MythologySong #PersephoneAndHades #DarkPop #FairytaleSong #OnceUponANightmare
