Camino Frances Day 36: Triacastela to Sarria

About 18 km gentle and beautiful walk through the heart of Galicia. We left Triacastela after a leisurely breakfast and walked among lush green mountains, fading morning mist, ferns, chestnut groves, grazing cows, and the constant sound of birdsong.The Camino has given us space to pause, disconnect from the noise, and reflect on the chapter ahead. Growth is not always about doing more; it can also mean slowing down, becoming more present, and letting go of habits or expectations that no longer serve us. Arriving in Sarria means entering the final stage of the Camino. It feels less like an ending and more like a threshold: a chance to move forward with greater clarity, curiosity, and an open heart.
