Villa Cahaya - Architecture & Interior Design by Samma Studio

Project Information Project Name : Villa Cahaya Project Location : Canggu, Bali Category : Residential Year : 2022 Status : Built Services : Architecture & Interior Design On the smaller plots, two villas of 250 square metres each are envisioned as three-bedroom residences, designed with the rhythms of local life in mind. Unlike the larger primary residence, these homes prioritise practical features that cater specifically to domestic needs, including a separate service access for daily house helpers—a consideration that reflects the expectations of local buyers rather than expatriate lifestyles. Though compact in scale, the villas maintain a refined architectural expression. Open, light-filled interiors are paired with efficient layouts that balance private family spaces with generous communal areas. The design ethos is rooted in affordability and practicality while ensuring that style and comfort remain integral to the living experience. Together, the combination of the flagship residence and these thoughtfully scaled villas creates a layered residential offering. By aligning design with cultural context and market demand, the project not only maximises land use but also provides attainable, premium options that resonate with the aspirations of the local community. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Samma Studio is an architecture and interior design studio that embraces the essence of spatial synergy.
