Meditation XII is specifically designed to accompany and amplify the effects of Red Light Therapy devices that use a pulsed NIR source at 10 Hz. This frequency of brainwaves sits in the mid alpha range, great for a relaxed steady focus. It is one of the most studied entrainment frequencies, with most people having a resonance spike right around 10 Hz. In this state you often experience relaxed creativity, sitting right on the edge of the dream state. download for free: frontiermusic.ca/meditation12 The track is meant to immerse you in the 10 Hz, with a primary binaural beat set to 10 Hz targeting Eb, and accompanying subdivisions that are also in harmony. Even the tracks bpm is derivative of 10 Hz, sitting at 300, or 150 bpm. The 808 drums you hear were actually not programmed, but performed on a Nord Drum 3P, to add a little extra human intention to the track. Target Focus Note: Eb4 (311.13 Hz) I had particular success while testing this track with my Vielight intranasal light therapy device (https://www.vielight.com/). At around the 10 minute mark, I started to experience vivid hypnagogic flashes of seemingly random things, but some unnecessarily creepy. Why should there be a slightly disfigured doll looking back at me for a flash? I figured, that if my subconscious mind, or some external source, can seed hypnogogic images, my conscious mind probably can too. I didn’t focus on a specific image to generate, but instead on a category: dinosaurs. I began cycling through images in my mind of different dinosaurs. First a tyrannosaurus, then a stegosaurus, and then bam! A high res hypnogogic image of a triceratops standing in lush greenery appeared to me, like I was standing in front of it. But the image quickly faded, and I continued to meditate. After a short while longer, I started to get more seemingly random hypnogogic flashes. But I say seemingly because after righting off a few of them in a row as random, I realized what they were. They were images of the end-table and couch on the other side of the room, but from the perspective of floating above them looking down at them. Why would my subconscious decide to generate such a random perspective, inside the same room that I was in? With any luck, and a lot of practice, hopefully I can hold that state long enough to turn, and see if I’m there meditating on the other side of the room. —- The visuals for this track are a very very rough approximation of some of visuals I get while meditating. —- The mission of the Frontier Music Meditation Tapes, is to explore the effects of binaural beats, using music to help induce a frequency following response. This response is associated with brainwaves synchronized with the binaural beat frequency. Different binaural beat frequencies are associated with different mental states. So the ultimate goal is to use music to direct your attention to the binaural beat, and use the binaural to achieve a desired mental state. The interactions are more complicated than that, but where music stands out is its ability to direct, maintain, or enhance an emotional state. This coupled with the binaural beat layers, and the interactions between them, is meant to guide the mind to a target state and hold it there.  Please tell me what your experience was like with this track. As this is an experiment, your data is very welcome. I also intend to make more and make them better, so constructive criticism is welcome. frontiermusic.ca/meditate #BinauralBeats #10HzAlpha #AlphaWaves #BrainwaveEntrainment #BinauralAmbient #AmbientMusic #MeditationMusic #FlowState #RedLightTherapy #Photobiomodulation #RLT #FocusMusic #RelaxationMusic #LightTherapy #PulsedLight
