World Conference Animal politics 2026 - Romania

✨ Our World Conference 2026 in Romania has come to an end — and what an unforgettable gathering it was. Under the theme **“Protecting Bears, Building Bridges”**, animal advocates, political changemakers and representatives of animal-focused political parties from across Europe and beyond came together in Brașov for three inspiring days of connection, learning and action. 🌍🐾 Together with our Romanian sister party **NOA**, we created a programme dedicated to two urgent animal welfare issues: the protection of bears 🐻 and the future of stray animals 🐕. From our visit to the *Libearty Bear Sanctuary* to powerful contributions from experts, politicians and animal advocates, we explored how science, politics and compassion can come together to create lasting change. On Sunday, our focus shifted to stray animals, including a visit to **Happy Tails**, and inspiring examples of how humane solutions can replace cruelty and neglect. But this conference was not only about talking. ✊ Together, participants signed two important manifestos calling for stronger protection of *bears* and *stray animals* — turning shared values into a shared commitment for action. Because when people from different countries, cultures and political movements unite around one simple belief — that animals deserve compassion, protection and a voice — borders become bridges. ❤️🌍 A huge thank you to all our participants, speakers, partners and our sister party NOA for making these days so special. *Together, we are building a worldwide movement for animals.* 🐾 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🌍 *Learn more about the Animal Politics Foundation and our international movement:* 👉 https://www.partyfortheanimals.com/en *Follow us:* 📸 Instagram: @partyfortheanimals 📘 Facebook: Party for the Animals 𝕏 X: @party4animals #AnimalPolitics #ProtectingBearsBuildingBridges #AnimalRights #AnimalWelfare #Bears #StrayAnimals #Romania #AnimalPoliticsFoundation #PartyForTheAnimals
