𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐢𝐫: 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝

In Episode 11 of #KashmirArchitectureTales: Qabal Masih Say 20wein Sadi Tak, part of #KashmirLife’s landmark 30-film #Jammu and #Kashmir history series that uses #KashmirArchitecture to retell the region’s past, Kashmir: Living With Wood traces a powerful story of continuity, how #WoodenArchetecture did not disappear with the fall of the # Sultans. Presented by #IqraAkhoon and directed by #HumairaNabi, the film follows the team, along with #ShahzadWagay and #MudasirFarooq, into the remote #BadNamal belt of deep #NorthKashmir to understand why communities there continue to rely on wood as their primary building material, defying both time and modernity. Partnered by #KhyberCement, the series stands as the first of its kind in #Kashmir’s audio-visual history.
