KEYNOTE: Making Nuclear Happen - From Ambition to Delivery

This is a recording of a live keynote panel discussion hosted by Wood for Back Nuclear Energy (October 2026), the UK's national awareness week, sponsored by Wood. Join guest panellists Simon Bowen, Chair of Great British Energy – Nuclear; Julia Pyke CBE, Chair of Agilia Infrastructure Partners; and John Fingleton, Executive Chair at Fingleton, as we discuss why the future of nuclear is no longer a question of technology. The challenge is delivery. As the UK accelerates plans for new nuclear capacity, success will depend on creating projects that are financeable, deliverable and licenseable while building the skills, supply chains and capabilities needed for long-term operation. This session will explore how government, developers, investors and industry can work together to improve delivery certainty, strengthen investment confidence and accelerate deployment at scale. Speakers will discuss the practical actions needed to turn nuclear ambition into successful projects and lasting economic value. #BackNuclearEnergy #Wood Learn more at www.backnuclearenergy.com
