Ayesha Tanzeem is an accomplished media executive, journalist, and entrepreneur dedicated to strengthening trust in journalism and reimagining the future of news. As the Founder and CEO of Tiny Mighty News (TMN), she is focused on addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing modern media, including declining public trust, misinformation, disinformation, local news deserts, and the growing impact of deepfakes. Prior to launching TMN, Ayesha led the South & Central Asia Division at Voice of America, overseeing news operations across 10 countries, 12 languages, and a $35 million budget. Under her leadership, VOA significantly expanded its reach and influence, becoming a widely recognized and trusted news source across key regions. Her efforts helped drive billions of annual video views through innovative storytelling and the adoption of cutting-edge digital media strategies. Ayesha’s distinguished career also includes leadership roles within globally respected organizations such as Voice of America and the BBC. Drawing on decades of experience in journalism, audience engagement, and media innovation, she is now exploring how trust, verification, language, and relevance can be intentionally built into modern information systems from the ground up.
