My LAST PAYDAY in Japan 🇯🇵💸 | A Day in My Life Before Going Home Come spend a simple day with me here in Japan, my dears! 🤍 This payday feels a little different as I slowly prepare for my journey back to the Philippines after almost 7 years of living and working in Japan. Today, I went for a morning walk, stopped by a bakery, bought tea from a Japanese vending machine, and spent some quiet time at the park before heading to the bank for payday. I also picked up my favorite noodles and bought fresh ingredients for butter shrimp before heading home to cook a simple meal. As I prepare to return to the Philippines, I’m slowly becoming more mindful of what I buy and what I need to bring home. It’s a bittersweet feeling knowing that the little routines I’ve grown used to in Japan will eventually become memories. This isn’t an extraordinary day, but sometimes the simplest days are the ones we remember the most.
