Šķērsu dienu saule teka. Aleksandra Špicberga, Atis Andersons, Kaspars Kurdeko

Šķērsu dienu saule teka. Latviešu tautasdziesma grupas mūziķu apdarē / Across the day the sun walks. Latvian folk song, arranged by musicians. Across the day the sun walks Across the night the moon Across walk horse of god Without eating, without drinking. Crossed grows birch-tree root Crossed stars in the sky Crossing run god’s horses Without chains, without ties. Long time heard, now i saw Foal of god adorned Through his sadle sun arose Through his bridle moon At the end his leash Morning star springs up. Song lyrics translation to English by Guntis Dišlers.
