One heart, one sword, One dream that lasts forever... In the Scottish rain, A warrior was born, Connor MacLoud, He could never die alone. Through the years he wandered, Through the centuries he'd roam, Looking for a reason To find his way back home. Then Ramirez came, With a sword and a secret, "You're one of us..." And Connor had to believe it. HIGHLANDER! Running through the night, Chasing down forever With a sword held to the light. HIGHLANDER! When the Quickening calls, There can be only one, When the last immortal falls. Ramirez taught him How to fight and survive, The Gathering was coming, Only one would stay alive. Then the Kurgan came With the darkness in his eyes, He took away Ramirez And left the past behind. Heather held his heart, But time was not her friend, She grew old beside him, While Connor would not end. Oh, the years keep turning, But the memories remain, Every love he ever lost Still whispers in the rain. HIGHLANDER! Running through the night, Chasing down forever With a sword held to the light. HIGHLANDER! When the Quickening calls, There can be only one, When the last immortal falls. Now he's Connor Nash, Living underneath a name, But the past comes back And it knows him just the same. Brenda sees the secret, And she follows where he goes, She finds there's more to Connor Than anybody knows. The Kurgan takes her... The final battle starts... Two ancient warriors... Two immortal hearts... One sword in the darkness, One flash across the rain, All the lives he's lived before Are calling out his name. The Quickening... Feel the thunder... Feel it shaking through the sky! The centuries are breaking... And the old world says goodbye! HIGHLANDER! Now the fight is done! The Kurgan has fallen! And Connor is the one! HIGHLANDER! Now the Prize is near! After all those lonely years, He can finally live without fear! HIGHLANDER! No more running through the night! No more searching for forever! No more hiding from the light! THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! CONNOR! Connor looks toward the mountains, And the ancient road is gone... For the first time in forever, He can finally carry on. There can be only one... [LONG ORCHESTRAL SUSTAIN — fading guitar and synth] And tonight... it's Connor. -- #Twinkie #Highlander #ThereCanBeOnlyOne #80sMusic #80sSynthPop #Lost80sMusic #Forgotten80sHits #1986Music #80sFantasy #80sMovies #80sSoundtracks #RetroSynth #VHSNostalgia #FantasyMusic #EpicPop #80sNostalgia #EndlessNostalgiaCoastFM86 📻 Endless Nostalgia Coast FM86 — The Sound of Summer. 24 Hours a Day. 🌊📻🎸 LIKE • COMMENT • SUBSCRIBE
