KAYDEE WORKING HARD TO IMPRESS SHADOW! WATCH WHAT SHE DOES w/ HER STICK WHEN SHADOW LEAVES 10.10.26

This afternoon both Shadow & Kaydee could be seen perching on Twin Pines during the rain. They seem to be together more & more lately - spending the night on Roost Tree, chortling, waking up and flying off RT to the nest or to Lookout Snag where they perch some more. Sometimes a brief stop on the nest in the morning to inspect the sticks! Then perching on Twin Pines or other trees in the area before coming to the nest at dusk for one last nest check. Shadow will arrive first to the nest, Kaydee flies off Cactus Snag and flies in right after Shadow. The do a little stick shuffle, Kaydee gives beakies and a nibble on Shadow. Kaydee begins to move some sticks when Shadow suddenly goes to the back porch and flies off the nest to the Roost Tree. Kaydee's reaction was priceless. With a stick in her beak she is stunned by his departure. She freezes for a moment and then she just drops the stick! Well why do more nest work when he is not around to impress? Kaydee flies off the nest and joins him on the Roost Tree for the night. Watch at 05:51 to see that priceless moment of the stick drop! Kaydee decides it is not fun anymore working on the nest alone! She has a funny personality - it is a joy watching them together! Thank you for watching!
