Art Detectives Season 1 Review | Art, Murder & So Much Tea ☕

This week on Cozy Comfort Club, we’re heading into the world of art, antiques, forgery, and murder to chat about Art Detectives Season 1 on Acorn TV. DI Mick Palmer and DC Shazia Malik investigate crimes involving everything from vandalized paintings and Viking artifacts to vintage wine, Titanic memorabilia, and rare collectibles. We’re talking about the mysteries that surprised me, Mick and Shazia’s developing partnership, Mick’s complicated relationship with his father Ron, and why I wanted a little more character development from this first season. And, of course, we’re talking about all the things that made Art Detectives unexpectedly cozy for me: beautiful art, museums, rainy weather, countryside travel, pubs and B&Bs, fish and chips, Mick’s many layers, piano playing, and so much tea.
