Did Jesus cite a missing book Moses wrote? A Baptist says the Bible is infallible — then John 5:46 shuts it down.
RJ joins Latter-day Lion to defend that all scripture is given by inspiration and therefore perfect. We answer with the prism: white light revelation passing through imperfect mortal men, cooler colors and warmer colors seen differently. Then the test: John 5:46 "for he wrote of me" — where in the Torah did Moses prophesy Jesus as Messiah? We work through John 5:30-47 at the Pool of Bethesda, why this is about witness to the Messiah not a claim to be God the Father, Deuteronomy 18:15 and why first-century Jews would hear Joshua not Jesus, Exodus 12 Passover lamb as post-hoc typology not John 5 context, Luke 24:27, and why scholars note Moses didn't write Deuteronomy — third-person death account included.
He spins the wheel, cuts out on audio, admits no direct prophecy, then leaves to charge his phone. Two off-ramps remain: Jesus referenced scripture not in your 66-book canon, or it's a contradiction. Either way inerrancy fails.
