Guinea Pigs | First or Second out of the Door?

There was a balls up letting the pigs out this morning. Mario seemed to have gone into the playground for his breakfast, when in fact he was still running around the bank, so there was a delay opening the shed door whilst trying to catch Mario. With the shed floor already brushed, camera set up, lights on and activity outside, the pigs were fully aware that it was time to go out, but were obviously frustrated at the delay. It turned into a battle of wits and determination as to who was going to be first out. It just shows how they can find the silliest little things to squabble over. In the end a few couldn't decide whether they were going out or not, and it was difficult to keep tack of who was in and who was out! The main scene is up top near the pig pen, where either Mario or Amos and Albert spend a couple hours most days. All thirteen were up there (the whole herd except for Mario, Amos and Albert). That's a very rare occurrence, with odd ones and twos usually off on their own somewhere. They are feeding on a mixture of grass, dandelions and bishop's goutweed, all picked fresh for them nearly every day. A pile of this mixture is also put in the shed each evening, to help encourage them all back inside. Amos and Albert still get to spend a few hours each day in the vacant rabbit run next door, where they can forage and stretch their legs.
