Sins are the chains the powers and principalities use to enslave us. Christ came to dethrone the Devil and the Fallen, not by attacking them on their terms, which is warfare and violence in the flesh, but instead Jesus takes the power from them by neutralizing the problem with sin. When Christ died upon the Cross, He became sin, taking on the curse that the enemy had used to bind us to their authority. By paying the penalty for our sins, He blazed a trail through death itself, since death is a byproduct of sin. With death defeated, He opened the door for everyone to follow Him into eternal life. Our sins are a covenant with the devil, because rebellion in the flesh is his domain. In order to break a covenant, both parties must agree to mutually end the contract, or one of the parties must die. Christ gave us the instructions on breaking our covenant with the Devil through His Sacrifice. He didn’t die upon the Cross so we don’t have to, He died upon the Cross to teach us how to. Once we are crucified alongside Him, then we are also resurrected within Him. When we are Born Again into the Body of Christ, we become a new creation in Christ. When we are delivered from the darkness, we are received into His Love and Light. We are no longer citizens of the Fallen World, but citizens of Heaven. While we still sin, we are now under a Covenant of Grace in Jesus. Though our deeds are like scarlet, He makes them as white as wool, and righteousness is found only through Him. (‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬-‭14‬) “For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.” Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.” But the law is not of faith, rather “The one who does them shall live by them.” Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.” (‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬-‭10‬) “For we do not want you to be unaware, brothers, of the affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.” (‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬-‭21‬) “From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” My testimony video:    • My Testimony / Signs From God   Like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell to stay updated!
