Extreme Wind Flying! CP-140 Aurora - The pride of Canada - 2026 London Airshow Skydrive - Day 3

When it started to rain and the Skydrive London airshow came to an abrupt pause on day 3, I really did not think that RCAF will still put up CP-140 Aurora in the air, but they did! Fortunately, by the time the CP-140 took off, the skies were much better, though the wind was still pretty rough. Exceptional flying ability of the RCAF to fly in this kind of weather, but then, that is expected. CP-140 Aurora is the pride of Canada. It is a long-range maritime patrol aircraft that was originally designed for Anti-Submarine warfare, but its role has evolved to include search and rescue as well as illegal fishing etc. Getting to see a CP-140 (and hear) fly is amazing, and 2026 Skydrive London Airshow provided the opportunity to catch this beauty in action!
