Extreme Flying in Extreme Rain! Canadian F-18 Airshow Demo at 2024 CFB Bagotville, Québec

This video features the RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) CF-18 (a variant of F-18 Hornet) performing an airshow demo in extreme rainy conditions at CFB Bagotville in Québec during Day 2 of Bagotville International Airshow 2024. It was also a huge challenge for me to continue filming when I was soaking wet (despite umbrella) and the lens cleaning cloth also quickly became wet, but I am glad I soldiered up and continued cleaning + filming, because this airshow was one of the most memorable airshows I have ever attended. The first day, I was stuck in traffic near the base for 6 hours and missed the entire show. On day 2, it rained like crazy, as you can see in the video. Some performances were cut short, such as Canadian Snowbirds and Frecce Tricolori, some were canceled such as USAF F-35A Demo, but huge shoutout to RCAF and RAF for treating these conditions as ordinary and still putting on regular demos of CF-18 and Eurofighter Typhoon, respectively. This demo was flown by Captain Caleb Robert "Tango", a skillful pilot who I personally have witnessed perform demos in some of the toughest conditions, including rain, dusk as well as night.
