Our Maiden Voyage! Sailing To The Channel Islands National Park!

We experience a crazy heavy fog out at the island and explore the cove with kayaks, spearguns, dinghies, surfboards, and more. The island of Santa Cruz never ceases to amaze us with her beauty, wonder, and unpredictable ways. Our return home was an amazing downwind sail with a straight shot back to Ventura Harbor. We were stoked to be able to try out our nav system, handheld depth finder, test out our anchor setup, and so much more - and we of course fell more in love with our home on the water, Quicksilver. She steered us well and we are excited to get her back out there for more of what the island has to offer.
