The Road to The 2027 LA Marathon | Episode 1

Welcome to The Road to the 2027 ASICS Los Angeles Marathon — a new series following my journey to race day on March 7, 2027. This isn't just a marathon training series. Over the next several months, I'll take you behind the scenes of LA Marathon season — from training and races to the Los Angeles running community, run clubs, LA Road Runners, pace leaders, ambassadors, marathon events, course preparation, and the people who make this race so special. In Episode 1, the journey officially begins. I'll be sharing what I have planned for the road ahead, and what you can expect from this series as we count down to the 2027 ASICS Los Angeles Marathon. Expect training, racing, behind-the-scenes access, LA running stories, marathon tips, community voices, and plenty of Rizzo along the way. The goal isn't just to get to the finish line. It's about the road that gets us there.
